Lavender Lemon Tahini Dressing

The earthy taste of sesame tahini and a few lavender petals makes this salad dressing simply heavenly. Enjoy!

1.       1 Tsp. dried tarragon
2.       1/2 cup sesame tahini
3.       2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
4.       2 small cloves garlic lightly chopped
5.       6 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
6.      3/4 Tsp. sea salt
7.      1/8 Tsp. organic culinary lavender petals (chopped lightly)

Place all ingredients, except for the tarragon and lavender petals in a food processor and pulse until the mixture looks creamy, add tarragon and lavender petals and pulse 3 more times. Pour in a jar and refrigerate. Before using, take out from the fridge, place on kitchen counter for 10-15 minutes until it comes to about room temperature. Then drizzle over the salad.

Happy Mixing!

Testimonial: "I highly recommend the outstanding cooking and baking abilities of Chef Ellie Lavender. Finally, someone who knows how to cook vegetarian dishes and make them savory. Her sense of seasonings is a gift. She is creative and always right on. She uses the best ingredients and doesn't produce anything that is not of the highest caliber. Creative is her middle name. No one would go wrong putting her in charge of any food-related event. Just enjoy the talent you will see." - Judy Morgan, Santa Cruz
