Greetings, Food and Wine Enthusiasts:

Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life's most wonderful pleasures, which we’ll relish at my Vegetarian Mediterranean Cooking and Wine Pairing Class.

In this fun hands-on class (limit 15), we will make Vegetarian Paella, Moroccan Couscous and a Lavender Pear Tart, which we ’ll enjoy with a 2010 Vivanco Rioja Crianza, an amazing red wine from Spain, perfect  for a wide variety of Mediterranean cuisine (available at New Leaf Community Markets).

We'll even raffle a bottle at the end of the class. You'll leave the class joyful with recipes and a small bag of organic culinary lavender.

I look forward to seeing you in class. Please email me if you have any questions.

Testimonial: "I highly recommend the outstanding cooking and baking abilities of Chef Ellie Lavender. Finally, someone who knows how to cook vegetarian dishes and make them savory. Her sense of seasonings is a gift. She is creative and always right on. She uses the best ingredients and doesn't produce anything that is not of the highest caliber. Creative is her middle name. No one would go wrong putting her in charge of any food-related event. Just enjoy the talent you will see." - Judy Morgan, Santa Cruz
