My students are awesome!
They rocked my vegan cooking & wine pairing class: A Taste of Spain on Your Plate at Pescadero Creek Vineyard and made a delicious 4-course meal:
1. Appetizer: Smoked Paprika Garbanzo Beans & Crushed Spanish Green Olives Tapa
2. Salad: Fennel Blood Orange w/ Orange Juice, Spanish Olive Oil & Cardamom Pods Dressing
3. Entrée: Vegan Paella w/ Lemon-Saffron Santo Tomas Bomba Rice
4. Two Decadent Desserts: Tarta de Santiago de Chocolate & Red Barlette Pear Pistachio Tarta
They enjoyed their beautiful artisanal culinary creations with Pescadero Creek Vineyard's wine, the 2014 Pascal Pinot Noir, which beautifully complements Spanish/Mediterranean cuisine. They also took home a bottle of this delicious wine, plus a small bag of organic culinary lavender!
